Step 1: Installing from the app store

VISIT SHOPIFY APP STORE

Type in “Xendo” in the search field

Step 2: Opening page after install

Once the app has been installed from the store, the landing page will appear.

Please follow the below steps:

Skip if you “Already have an account” and go to “Register for Xendo”

“Initial Top Up” the minimum amount to initiate your account setup is GBP500.

Balance in the LL Account that will trigger a “Direct Debit Top Up”*

*This is down to the discretion of your business. This needs to be the minimum account that will trigger a new payment to top up your Xendo Wallet.

Step 3: Lian Lian basic information

Once the app has been installed from the store, the landing page will appear.

Please follow the below steps:

Please complete your business account details

This will trigger an email verification to be sent to the account you have signed up with. Please ensure you click “Verify Email” from your inbox.*Refer to Step 4

After clicking on create account , please note your tab may close and take you to Xendo dashboard. If it does, please click on the below link which will take you back to the LianLian page. https://uk.lianlianglobal.com/login

Once this has been completed, your next page will be a “Grant access”. Please click on Allow.

Step 4: Email Verification

The email verification will appear in your inbox as per screenshot. Please ensure to check your spam/junk folder also.

Please click “Verify Email” Or copy and paste the link into your browser.

After verifying via email your browser will open the below landing page

Step 4: Verify your account

Now your email has been verified it is time to verify your Lian Lian account.

Please click “Verify now”

Step 5: Know your business check

Once you have verified, you will need to complete the “Know Your Business”Please note this step will need to be completed by the owner or an authorised signature of the business.

Please complete all relevant company details on the first page of KYBC. Noting that “Residential address” on this page is the address your company is registered.

Once completed, please click “Next”.

Step 5: Know your customer check

Next stage of KYC is “Authorised User” Please note this step will need to be completed by the owner or an authorised signature of the business.

Please complete all relevant details on this screen. Noting that “Residential address” on this page is your residential address

Once completed, please click “Next”.

The next step is Identification, which will ask for a driving licence or passport to be uploaded via your mobile phone, instructions will appear on your computer screen*

*This is a standard process and required by law. Due to Anti Money Laundering (AML) regulations Lian Lian as a payment provider regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is required to obtain this information.*Please note we cannot screenshot the identification page for security reasons to protect our customers identities

Step 5: Confirmation of KYK/KYC check

Once all checks and information has been inputted, the team @ Lian Lian will review your account. Note this can take up to 24 hours.

You will receive confirmation via email

Step 6: Verifying Lian Lian account

Once your account is reviewed, login to your digital wallet.

Note you receive a confirmation via email

On the left-hand side of your home screen, you will see balances

To top up your account, please select “Top Up” in blue

You will be asked to select which currency to top up your account with, please select GBP

Select GBP

Please click "Next"

This textbox will appear, please click on “Set up standing payment order”.

Step 6: Adding bank account

If this is your first-time adding money to your account you will need to add your bank account details, pictured on the right is the box that will appear. As mentioned at the start this is a FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) regulated process.

Please select “Add bank account”

It will take you to your bank account screen but once again, you will need to select “Add bank account”

Step 6: Adding bank account continued

The bank location and currency are prefilled.

Please enter your Sort code

Please enter your Account number.

Click on “Submit”.

Once you have clicked on submit, it will send a verification code to the mobile number you have signed up with.

Enter the code you have received from LianLian on your mobile

Click “Confirm”

Once submitted, it will go off for approval which will take 1-2 days to review.

Step 6: Nominating your bank account

After your Bank account has been approved you will need to select your bank account as the nominated account.

Please hover over the Settings button (top right)

Select Bank account

You will need to nominate your bank account as our digital wallet allows you to have more than one bank account.

Please select the 3 dots.
Select Set as Nominated Account

This will open up this window, please select Setup Standing Payment Order

Step 7: Adding funds

This will be your landing page.

From your home screen select Top Up

Select GBP, click next

You will need to send a bank transfer to the details.

The first transfer will take 24 hours. Once LianLian are familiar with the source of funds, transfers will be added within 60 minutes.

Step 8: Enabling Xendo in Shopify

Before enabling the app, you need to ensure that your Shopify store is setup to collect import tax at checkout, below are the steps to follow to do this:

Go to your Shopify store.

  • On the bottom left, please click settings.
  • On the left-hand side menu, please click on Taxes & duties.
  • You will need to ensure the EU is ticked as collecting “Duties and taxes”
  • Once this is completed, click on save.

Step 8: Enabling Xendo in Shopify

If you are using an ERP which is linked to your Shopify store. It is highly important you input the endpoint API URL where the order create file is collected from Shopify. If you are not using an ERP, please ignore this step.

Go to your Shopify store.

  • Click on apps.
  • Xendo IOSS solution for UK sellers
  • You are now on the Xendo dashboard

You will see this box, please click webhooks.

  • You will see this box, please click Webhooks
  • Once this is completed, the webhooks page will open.

It is critical you input your API Endpoint URL in this highlighted box. This is the URL where your ERP will be collecting the Order create file from Shopify.

  • Please click Save
  • Please click Enable.

Step 8: Enabling Xendo in Shopify

Now you have funds in the account, you will need to Enable the Xendo account for transactions to happen.

Please Head to your Shopify store

Select Apps

Select Xendo

You will now be on the Xendo home screen in Shopify.

Please Head to your Shopify store

Your Xendo account is now up and running and will run with Shopify.

(XENDO PAYMENT PARTNER)

Now you have funds in the account, you will need to Enable the Xendo account for transactions to happen.

KYC
CHECKS

KYC is a set of procedures and regulations that businesses and financial institutions use to verify the identity of their customers. It involves collecting and verifying personal information and documents to ensure that customers are who they claim to be. KYC helps prevent fraud, money laundering, and other illegal activities by ensuring that individuals and entities engaging in financial transactions are legitimate and trustworthy.

KYB
CHECKS

KYB is a similar process to KYC but focuses on verifying the identity and legitimacy of business entities, such as companies and organizations.It involves gathering information about a business's ownership, structure, financial history, and other relevant details. KYB is used by banks, suppliers, and other entities to assess the risk associated with doing business with a particular company and to comply with anti-money laundering and regulatory requirements.
